AN0049 - AURIX™ MCU: ADC accuracy assessment

This document describes the ADC accuracy testing approachforAURIX™TC3x and TC4x microcontrollers(MCU).Infineon’sAURIX™TC3x MCUs have EVADC and EDSADC and TC4x MCUs have TMADC and DSADC (check in a datasheet for availability in particular devices) with excellent accuracy characteristics. Although all accuracy parameters of ADCs are specified in their datasheet, sometimes they need to be checked for specific customer applications. This document describes an approach to check ADC accuracy using an arbitrary signal generator and a precise digital multimeter, widely available in every electronic laboratory.
