User Guide for Infineon-MOTIX Solution Designer-UG

MOTIX™ Solution Designer is a tool offered by Infineon Technologies and it is designed to guide users in developing a motor control application. This document is a user guide providing guidance for working with the MOTIX™ Solution Designer aiming to get a particular motor control evaluation board running in a few simple steps. The document targets anyone who wants to play around with the MCTRL software. In this particular case, motor control developers can get some experience by using Infineon´s MOTIX™ TLE987x Evaluation Board. This guide consists of 3 main sections: • Introduction to MOTIX™ Solution Designer: Gives an overview about the tool, required components and how to connect the components • Overview of the MOTIX™ Solution Designer user interface: Provides a detailed explanation of the tool interface • How to run a motor: Features and functions of the tool described in two different levels of expertise: Simple view to get started and advanced view to get a deeper understanding
