The TRAVEO™ T2G connected MCU family redefines the capabilities of the smart world with its exceptional design. Offering unparalleled scalability and network connectivity, all encapsulated within a single Arm® Cortex®-M4 and dual Cortex®-M7 configuration. Noteworthy performance enhancements are evident, transitioning from the TRAVEO™ T1G's 400 DMIPS to an impressive 1500 DMIPS in the TRAVEO™ T2G model.

Tailored for body electronics applications, the TRAVEO™ T2G family also ensures scalability across memory size and pin count. This ingenious IP compatibility empowers customers to seamlessly design and cultivate their systems using a unified MCU solution.

Advanced security includes HSM, dedicated Cortex®-M0+ for secure processing, and dual bank flash for FOTA compliance. The family supports six power modes to curtail ECU power usage.

Our TRAVEO™ T2G MCUs are accompanied by an optimized software platform encompassing essential components like AUTOSAR MCAL, self-test libraries, Flash EEPROM emulation, and security low-level drivers.

The ModusToolBox™ software stands as a testament to our commitment, providing a comprehensive development environment tailored for the TRAVEO™ T2G MCUs.

Infineon's TRAVEO™ T2G microcontroller family for automotive instrument clusters features a new graphics architecture that enables a more robust and feature-rich graphics engine for display systems in automotive infotainment. These MCUs offer the most extensive scalability, covering conventional gauge instrument clusters as well as hybrid and virtual instrument clusters. Fueling this innovation is the formidable TRAVEO™ T2G cluster MCU family, fortified by up to two Arm Cortex-M7 cores clocked at up to 320 MHz. This configuration enables the attainment of ASIL-B/SIL-2 safety performance, setting a new industry standard. With memory capacities of up to 6 MB flash and 4 MB VRAM, the microcontrollers are equipped with an EVITA high-level HSM, fortifying security through hardware encryption accelerators and an enhanced ARM Cortex-M0+ dedicated hardware protection mechanism. Package options span from the versatile 327-pin BGA to the compact 216-pin TEQFP. The TRAVEO™ T2G MCUs feature a variety of embedded peripherals, including CAN-FD, LIN, Gigabit Ethernet, CXPI, a JPEG decoder, video input/output, and two serial memory interfaces (SPI/xSPI) for a comprehensive and robust solution.

ModusToolbox™

ModusToolbox™ Software is a comprehensive suite of development tools that provides a flexible and efficient development environment. It supports the development cycle from setup to prototyping and final hardware implementation, specifically for TRAVEO™ T2G Microcontrollers and TRAVEO™ T2G Body Lite Kits.

 TRAVEO™ T2G AUTOSAR Software

The TRAVEO™ AUTOSAR Software was introduced to the market in 2014 and has since undergone numerous improvements and upgrades. For the TRAVEO™ T2G, a mature, feature-rich driver layer is now available, which is developed, maintained, and supported by in-house TRAVEO™ experts. The TRAVEO™ T2G AUTOSAR Software was developed in compliance with AUTOMOTIVE SPICE and ISO26262 standards, making it suitable for applications with safety targets up to ASIL-B. Additionally, the delivery package includes the EB Tresos™ configuration tool, which comes with a node-locked license.

Drive Core for TRAVEO™ T2G

Infineon’s TRAVEO™ T2G Drive Core is a scalable software bundle that accelerates development, simplifies migration, and reduces commercial and supplier management complexities.
