AS8580 is a capacitive sensor detecting the change of capacitance in different applications, focussing on automtive use cases. It can be used for capacitive touch applications, proximity or human presence detection, fluid level and quality measurements as well as many other. The sensor uses a special measurement principle to provide the most robust capacitive information.
